Today I decided to do a laid back post and what better way to do so than showing off my bright pink nails by Superdry! Let me just start off by saying that pink is my favourite colour... ever! I am a teeeeny bit obsessed with this beautiful shade hence the nails for today's post.
"Punk Pink" by Superdry is an amazing shade of pink. It is amazing because it gives a neon like effect without taking it too far. In the bottle it looks lovely but on the nails it looks phenomenal! We all know that each brand has about 50 different shades of pink so finding something so unique is quite rare. This on the the other hand is unique to me in such a way that I now can't stop staring at my nails!
This polish glides on effortlessly and dries faster than any other polish I own. Before applying the Punk Pink shade, I first applied a coat of Essie's "3 Way Glaze". I then applied two coats of Punk Pink allowing them to dry thoroughly before I decided to get fancy with my Bourjois Dotting Tool. I had no idea what to do as this was my first time ever using such a device! I opted for a simple dot pattern using No7's Speed Dry Polish in Iced Mocha. I think this may be a discontinued colour as I was unable to find it online. There are many duplicates out there though. Note that this is a metallic silver pink (almost gold) shade.
I am extremely happy with the end result, it came out quite well for my first try! To seal in my "art work" I finished the look by applying a top coat, again using Essie's 3 Way Glaze.
Just found your lovely blog, I really like the nail tutorial - I may give this a ago :).
