With London Fashion Week coming to an end this week, we look at some of the highlights from this epic and astounding soiree of the very best talent around. Think magnificent design, exquisite craftsmanship and exceptional talent.
The designer showrooms were bursting with stunning collections from the chosen Rock Vault designers. In particular, much-admired jewellery designer Alice Cicolini showcased her unique and eclectic collection. Characterised by bold, geometric forms enamelled with vibrant hues, her magnificent rings were a major highlight, whilst her anticipated collaboration with luxury jewellery brand Winterson was also previewed for the first time. This contemporary designer jewellery from Winterson is a unique fusion of seed pearls, enamel and sparkling gemstones, revealing a playful take on the timeless bow.
Fashion Scout Catwalk
Over at the Freemasons Hall, The House of Evolution showcased their magnificent Spring/Summer collection. This creative platform for the latest creative, sartorial innovators included three up and coming designers this season. In particular Italian designer, Danilo Gabrielli’s collection wowed the crowds for another year in a row. His range is sophisticated and timeless, characterised by soft, delicate layers of organza, silk and chiffon in nude, camel and white hues - true feminine chic.
Somerset House, South Wing
This year seems to have surpassed all other years in the accessories department. From shoes and bags to swimwear and hats, accessories gathered attention. In particular, BoBelle London a luxury accessories brand, the brainchild of talented designer Claire Watt-Smith showcased their stunning collection. Highlights included their sharp, sleek range of bags including the signature Fitzrovia - the ultimate power tote and other exciting pieces such as the Berkeley and Cadogan. Bobelle London designs primarily for the modern, female professional. Steeped in Britishness, their collection has garnered a wide and loyal fanbase.
