During my stay at London for Fashion Week, I attended Handpicked Media's blogger event. As mentioned in my previous LFW post, the event was held in order to help bloggers and brands connect. Many brands were present; Superdry, HD Brows, Moroccan Oil, Bourjois, etc. Whilst sniffing around the Bourjois counter, the lovely and talented make-up artist, Lisa Prostamo, tempted me in for a little make over. Well I was well up for it as I had the "Fashion International" show to attend that evening... Who could turn down a free pampering session?!
Having already applied a minimum amount of makeup that morning (Revlon Colorstay foundation, No7 blush, Chanel eyeshadow, Lancome Mascara), Lisa was able to add to it without the end result looking cakey. As I did not think to note down the products used, I had to go through the Bourjois website to refresh my memory. I did remember everything bar the liquid eye-liner (which was amazing!) and the black eye pencil. I am sure all of their liners work just as well though!
To begin, Lisa first applied the "Little Round Pot" eyeshadow in #90. This shade is a beautiful white/silver shimmer which looks so beautiful as well as glamorous! (This shadow was also used to highlight the tops of my cheek bones) Lisa then lined my top lash line with a black liquid liner and the bottom lash line with a black eye pencil. Instead of taking the black pencil liner all the way to my tear duct, Lisa stopped two thirds of the way and then used a beautiful blue pencil. If I am correct, the exact shade she used is not currently released but Bourjois do also have a darker blue "Noir Bleute 58" which can be purchased now. Can I just say, blue eyeliner looks amazing on brown eyes! My eyes just popped, I will be using this trick from now on! To finish the eyes, Lisa added a touch more of mascara using the "Volumiser Ultra Mascara". This mascara is amazing and I will be purchasing this very soon to review on it's own!
For the face, a touch of "Blush Exclusif" was added to the apples of my cheeks, blended out into a beautifully natural sheen. Then, a light dusting of the beautiful "Java Rice Powder" which, may I just add, smells incredible! Finally, for the lips, Lisa added some lipstick in "Rose Innocence 11".
Voila! The look is complete!
A huge thank you to Bourjois for making me feel extra glamorous for the Fashion International show. I absolutely loved my make-up and it stayed perfect all night! I will be sure to purchase any of these products I don't already own in order for future reviews. If you have a favourite product from Bourjois, please do let me know in the comments section below!
