On Saturday evening I was kindly invited along to the Vintage Charity Fashion Show hosted by Vintage Dolly. Sarah, the shows organiser and host had been in contact with me regarding modelling for the show. I was so excited to be a part of something so special which is in aid of Cancer Research UK. Unfortunately, due to other commitments, I was unable to attend the rehearsal sessions which forced me to drop out of modelling as I could not let Sarah down! I still wanted to be a part of the cause so of course still attended and donated 3 lovely prizes for the raffle!
I attended the show with my Mum and our friend Sandra. They had both purchased VIP tickets back when I was modelling in order to see me close up (oh dear haha!) I too had a VIP ticket which enabled us to arrive an hour before general admission with the perks of delicious champagne and canapes! We also bumped into our magician friend Mike Jones who kept us entertained until the show began.
Fast forward to around 9:30pm when the show started. We sat right at the front of the runway which was perfect for taking photographs. Unfortunately my iPhone didn't catch many decent images but trust me, the models looked fantastic! All dressed in the most gorgeous vintage clothing, which is now to be auctioned off in order to raise more money for the charity.
Sarah did a fantastic job, a huge thank you to her for having us. We really felt welcome and enjoyed the show as well as the delicious food... I look forward to the next!
