Spring has sprung and the sun is shining... Well, almost! That means it's time to whip out those gorgeous summer makeup shades and transform into that beautiful bronzed goddess again!
Maybe it's just me but I feel my makeup skills fall a bit flat during the colder months. Frankly, I just get lazy with it... I am not inspired by the rain, I must say, but now that we are getting close to those warmer months, it's time to get practicing again!
I have been a massive fan of Sleek Makeup for so many years now. I remember seeing my favourite Youtuber's raving about their palettes and immediately picked myself up a few. I have never looked back guys... These palettes are just incredible!
Sitting in such an amazing price range of below £9, these palettes are a huge bargain. You get so much for your money and the quality really does show. It always amazes me how brands can create something so good for an affordable price... More people need to hear about these palettes!
Each i-Divine palette comes with 12 eye shadows. Sleek have a very large selection of different variations meaning that there really is one for everybody. Today, I am using the i-Divine Palette in "Sunset". I love this one as it has a lot of very wearable shades yet, BAM, there is that gorgeous blue! Of course I had to incorporate that beauty into this look and I am really pleased with the way it just brings the entire look together whilst adding that extra something.
To achieve this eye look:
- After laying your base, whether this be with a primer or your foundation, apply a couple of layers of the gorgeous shimmering gold shade "Sunrise"
- To bring this lid look to life, apply generous amounts of that stunning "Afterglow" shade, blending through the entire crease until there are no harsh edges
- For the wing, first use the darkest shade and create a nice thin line, winging it out on the edges. Then take a dip in "Dusk" which is the most beautiful blue and go over the line
- Line beneath the lower water line with this shade too, winging it out on the edges too and even the inner corners, if you want a more dramatic look, just like mine
Now we can't stop at the eyes Beauts. We need to pull this look together so let's get onto the cheeks. To achieve this super shimmering bronzed look, I used the Sleek Face Form palette in "Medium". I started off by adding the contour to the usual places... I then blended this out as much as possible adding lots of that gorgeous blush and finishing with a few sweeps of highlighter on the high points of my cheek bones, brow bone and nose.
To complete this look, you will need the Matte Me Liquid Lipstick in "Old Hollywood". This stuff is incredible! It lasts for so long and doesn't require lots of layers as the product is really opaque on first application.
