Biggest Watch Brands for Women in 2017

A good watch is an item of jewellery that every woman should own. Just by looking at a watch you can gauge a lot about a woman's personality and style - so you should put a bit of effort into finding the perfect one to suit yours. To help you out here at five watch brands, (that I love), that are set to be huge in 2017.

Olivia Burton
Olivia Burton’s pretty floral inspired watches are eye-catching amid a sea of minimalist dial designs. The nature-inspired illustrations are part of the British brand’s charm, but that offer something for everyone with their elegant black watch faces as well. It has gold-plated casing and there are versions in lighter colours if that works better for you. The best thing about Olivia Burton's collections are that although they are varied and different, they are instantly recognisable as Olivia Burton.

Thomas Sabo
Most people know Thomas Sabo for their jewellery, namely their cute charm and bead bracelets. They don’t however usually associate them with watches - but they really should. Thomas Sabo have a huge range of elegant, chic ladies’ watches. The Glam & Soul ladies' collection from them offers a range of styles, from slender models with wrap bracelets, to opulently watches set with zirconia. Their comprehensive line of watches are perfect combined both with both a work outfit or daytime look.

THOMAS SABO REBEL SPIRIT WATCH - £180.00 Peter Jackson The Jeweller

This Danish brand makes the ultimate in minimalist, pared-back watches that are honestly timeless. The signature stainless steel mesh bracelets are tougher than they look and make them instantly recognisable against their competitors. They really do embrace the Danish design aesthetic that less is more and their ability to strip away any unnecessary frills and embrace functional details.

SKAGEN Freja Steel Mesh Watch - £105.00

Amsterdam-based CLUSE may have only been running since 2014, but have become a firm favourite with bloggers and social media influencers - but it’s easy to see why. Their pieces are minimalist, but beautiful. Their mantra is “simple is not about being plain” – embracing little quirks like marble faces and interchangeable straps. An added bonus is that most designs are under £80!

Larsson and Jennings
Larsson and Jenning’ Swedish and British roots combine in their minimalist but classic-looking designs. Their contemporary craftsmanship and style have made them very popular among celebrities in the past few years, along with their ultra-wearable and timeless designs. If you want something that’s elegant and classy - but also affordable, these are for you.
